Full-Time Work Hours: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
Location: Brookfield, Illinois.

Job Description:

As a Service Technician you will be part of a team that’s responsible for up-keeping the general appearance of Mold-A-Rama machines and maintaining them. This includes daily checks, routine maintenance, and on-call repairs. This team is responsible for machines owned by Mold-A-Rama Inc. around the Chicago area.

Service Technicians will have responsibilities at venues such as…

  • Ensuring molds can be purchased with card or cash.
  • Collection of cash receipts for certain locations.
  • Routinely filling the machines with plastic at some locations

When finished in the field, we work on projects in our workshop such as rebuilding retired Mold-A-Rama machines, cleaning/creating machine parts, and managing inventory of plastic, pigments, and molds.

Job Requirements:

  • Mechanical Ability (Experience in any mechanical field is helpful.).
    • Working knowledge of electrical circuits & motors.
    • Basic understanding on hydraulic systems.
    • Basic Understanding on refrigeration systems.
  • Must be able to life 60 lbs.
  • Must have valid driver’s license (Clean driver’s history & bond-able.).
  • Okay with working weekends and holidays, open to overnight travel.

This Job requires mechanical ability, a working knowledge of electrical circuits and motors, a basic understanding of hydraulic systems, and a basic understanding of refrigeration. Experience in any mechanical field is a plus!

Job Description:

Mold-A-Rama Inc. is looking for intelligent, quick thinking, responsible, self starter, who can work without direct instruction. This position is a key role in this small, but successful family business. Technician is to act as sub-contractor of Mold-A-Rama Inc. (based out of Brookfield, IL.) and is responsible for the upkeep of Mold-A-Rama machines owned by Mold-A-Rama Inc. at the San Antonio Zoo.

Technician will have responsibilities at the venue such as…

  • Maintain general appearance of Mold-A-Rama machines.
  • Filling machines with plastic on a routine basis.
  • Checking and cleaning all machines (3-4 times a week average.).
  • Routine weekly maintenance.
  • On-call response for repairs.

Job Requirements:

  • Mechanical Ability (Experience in any mechanical field is a plus.).
    • Working knowledge of electrical circuits & motors.

    • Basic understanding on refrigeration systems.
